A Children Book that I Enjoy
I really enjoyed all the Sesame Street books growing up as a child. The one book that I really enjoyed reading to my class is from Sesame Street. lol It is called "We're Different, We're The Same", the reason why I like this book it deals with all types of children and how we may look different we all have very much in common.
Story That Touched My Heart
One of my students this school year had never been in childcare or school so I was her first experience of being in school. Every morning for a month she used to come in crying and we had to draw hearts for her to color for mom to ease her anxiety. As time went on she became more comfortable with us and the class that she came to class without any problems, and a smile on her face. In June we had a ceremony and she told us that we made her first experience of school a positive one and she is ready for next year.

This drawing is very special to me. This is from my seven year old niece. She was just drawing and said " Look Tia (auntie) this is you!! I said that's how you see me? She said yes, but you look prettier though. lol. I love this because it was from her heart.
