This article talks about a teacher and her experience with teaching during COVID-19. Amy Silverman has carefully planned a combination of virtual and hands-on learning opportunities for the children in her program. Amy Silverman is a preschool teacher at the American international school in Guangzhou, China, where the rapid spread of the COVID-19 cornavirus has meant that we've had to take quick action to keep as many people healthy as possible. This article also mentions how Amy found some struggles with incorporating lessons for the children virtually how she would do in person. She had to come up with a program that incorporates all the learning domains. With careful planning Amy was able to create a play-based learning engagements children and caregivers can do together that are developmentally appropriate and that , as much as possible reflects her school standards.
I found this article to be very informative and it gave me some motivation to look for ways to better improve my remote learning days at school. If you get a chance this is a good article to read/ reference. This article can be found on the NAEYC's website.

Hi Takeisha, thank you so much for sharing this article. It is very diffficult coming up with ways to keep young children engaged and tuned in to lesson plans on an online platform. I was lucky to only have to do so for a month but others had to and may still have to do so till this day. Some of my students recieving therapy have to do so virtually and I give lots of props to their therapists because even though there is a on site staff member or teacher with the student during their therapy sessions the therapist is able to keep them intune with the lesson and work at hand with interactive games and videos to help the child with their various developmental delay or challenge.
